My first butterfly capture of the summer came from a very unusual place. As I had been wondering around for a good hour and sitting still near the fresh blooms in the garden, I thought for sure that the sweet scented blooms would attract the butterfly's. However after waiting and seeing no sign of butterfly's I decided to wonder around more and see what I could find. To my surprise I found this beautiful creature warming her wings on an old piece of metal. I was very excited to get the chance at this capture and was very proud of myself for the turn out.
